Okta: Okta Verify App - Enrolment and setting up two-factor authentication on a mobile device
Device Enrolment
At the ‘Set up multi-factor authentication screen, click Configure factor to begin the enrolment process.
At the ‘Setup Okta Verify’ screen, select your device type and click Next.
A QR code will appear on the screen, ready to be scanned using the Okta Verify app on your mobile device.

Open the Okta Verify app on your device, tap Add Account at the bottom or the plus (+) icon at the top to add a new Okta account. Choose ‘Organization’ and click Yes, Ready to Scan.
NOTE: You may need to grant the Okta Verify app access to the device’s camera and allow push notifications.
Point the camera at the QR code. The camera detects and reads the QR code automatically. The screen will then show that the account has been added successfully. Tap Done and the account should now show in the account list, displaying an initial 6-digit code that refreshes every 30 seconds.
Note: The account displays the organisation’s login URL - login.wellcomww.com - as well as the user account (‘john.doe@wellcomww.com’ in the example above) for which multi factor authentication was configured. Multiple Okta accounts can be configured within this app at the same time e.g. to access client systems that also use Okta authentication.
That completes enrollment!
The web browser on your computer will return to ‘Set up multi-factor authentication.
Click Finish. You’ll be directed to the Okta homepage. This confirms your device is enrolled.
